CM Majhi Mourns Bijay Nayak’s Passing, Announces Rs 4 Lakh Ex-Gratia
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi has expressed profound grief over the demise of Bijay Nayak, a resident of Renghalo in Puri district, who passed away on August 26 while undergoing treatment in Palghat, Kerala.
In a gesture of support, the CM sanctioned an ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) to aid Nayak’s bereaved family.
With coordinated efforts from the Labour Commissioner and the Puri district administration, Nayak’s mortal remains were flown to Bhubaneswar Airport.
Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida paid her final respects and extended condolences to the grieving family.
Bijay Nayak, son of Hina Nayak, hailed from Badamachhpur village in Nimapara Block. Known for his humble background and community involvement, his untimely death has left a void in the hearts of many.
