Class 10 Student Dies After Collapsing in Ganjam Hostel
Khallikote, Ganjam: A Class 10 student, Mihir Pradhan, tragically collapsed inside the hostel of Sri Aurobindo Integral Education Centre on Sunday morning.
Hostel authorities immediately rushed him to the Khallikote Community Health Centre, but doctors declared him “brought dead.”
Mihir, son of Santosh Pradhan from Bagalpur village, was staying at the hostel while preparing for his upcoming board examinations.
His sudden death has shocked the school community and cast a pall of gloom over his native village.
Khallikote Police have registered a case and begun investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Family members, local leaders, including the MLA and Tehsildar, reached the hospital to console the grieving family.
The exact cause of death will be determined after the post‑mortem examination.
