CHSE Introduces Improvement Exam Option for Plus II Students
The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha, has announced a new opportunity for Plus II students to enhance their academic performance.
Under the revised rules, students who wish to improve their marks in one subject can now reappear for an improvement exam.
The exam will be conducted within 60 days of the declaration of results and will run concurrently with the regular Plus II examinations.
Unlike the earlier system, where only students failing in one subject could reappear, the new rule allows even those who have passed but want better scores to take the exam.
This initiative is expected to benefit students who score below 75%, particularly those preparing for competitive exams such as NEET, where higher marks are crucial.
However, students who fail a subject will not be eligible for this improvement exam; instead, they can appear for the instant exam.
Education experts believe this move will provide a fair chance for students to strengthen their academic records and improve their prospects for higher education.
