CHSE Celebrates 43rd Foundation Day with Cultural Flair and Academic Pride
Bhubaneswar, Sept 7 — The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha, marked its 43rd Foundation Day with a vibrant ceremony at its headquarters, celebrating decades of academic excellence and student empowerment.
School & Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond addressed the gathering, emphasising education as the bedrock of a “Samruddh Bharat” and commending CHSE’s pivotal role in shaping young minds. The event featured the release of the annual souvenir Pragyan and the NSS annual report, highlighting the council’s achievements and initiatives.
A special moment came with the felicitation of sportspersons who excelled at the SGFI National Sports Competition, showcasing the council’s commitment to holistic development. Adding a creative touch, CHSE staff performed a stage play titled Gurudakshina, which resonated with themes of gratitude and mentorship.
CHSE Chairman Mrunal Kanti Das delivered the welcome address, while Secretary Subhrabala Behera anchored the program. Distinguished guests, including Additional Secretary Subhashree Nanda and Srikant Tarai from the Board of Secondary Education, graced the occasion.
The celebration drew enthusiastic participation from students, educators, intellectuals, and council staff, reaffirming CHSE’s enduring legacy in Odisha’s educational landscape.
