Boudh Police Seize Over 3 Quintals of Cannabis, Peddlers Escape
In a major crackdown on narcotics, Kantamal police in Boudh district seized more than 302 kilograms of cannabis during a raid in Balmatumba forest.
Acting on credible intelligence, Inspector Basudev Bhoi led a strong police team to the site, where drug traffickers abandoned sacks of cannabis and fled.
The contraband was weighed in the presence of a magistrate, and a case has been registered under the NDPS Act.
Authorities have intensified surveillance and investigations to track down the absconding mafia, marking one of the largest recent busts in the district.
