Blast at Ganjam Ice Cream Factory Leaves One Dead, Three Injured

A tragic incident unfolded in Talapatna village of Ganjam district when a blast ripped through a local ice cream factory under Dharakote police limits. The explosion left one person dead and three others critically injured.

The victims have been identified as Ramesh Mahapatra, Hemant Mahapatra, Sabhapati Mahapatra, and Bidesi Pradhan.

All were rushed to Aska Hospital, with two later referred to MKCG Medical College in Berhampur. Despite medical efforts, one succumbed to injuries while the others remain in critical condition.

Police reached the site promptly and have launched an investigation into the cause of the blast.
