BJP Confident of Sweeping Odisha Panchayat & Municipal Elections, Says Vijaypal Singh Tomar

Bhubaneswar, Dec 29: Odisha BJP in‑charge Vijaypal Singh Tomar has asserted that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is poised for a sweeping victory in the upcoming panchayat and municipal elections across the state.

Drawing parallels with the party’s success in Nuapada, Tomar said the BJP’s organisational strength and grassroots outreach will ensure decisive wins.

Speaking at a crucial state‑level meeting chaired by BJP president Manmohan Samal, Tomar highlighted that the party has already fulfilled most of its promises to the people of Odisha, with the remaining commitments set to be delivered by year‑end.

He emphasised that the BJP government remains vigilant and committed to serving citizens.

State co‑in‑charge Lata Undesi echoed the sentiment, stressing that the BJP continues to expand its organisational base while strengthening its bond with the people.

The meeting, attended by four general secretaries and organisational secretary Manas Mahanti, underscored the party’s readiness for the electoral battle ahead.

With preparations in full swing, the BJP leadership expressed confidence that Odisha will witness a strong mandate in favour of the party during the forthcoming local body polls.
