BJD Leader’s Wife Found Dead in Nuapada

Nuapada, Odisha: In a shocking incident, Pooja Panda, wife of senior BJD leader Harischandra Panda, was found dead by hanging near her residence in Matagudipada on Sunday night.

The discovery was made around 8:30 p.m., prompting immediate police intervention. Her body was later sent to the district hospital for autopsy.

Family members alleged that she used her scarf to hang herself from a bel tree outside the house. The exact reason behind the act remains unclear.
