Bikram Panda Hospitalized in Pitabas Panda Murder Case
Berhampur/Bhubaneswar: Former Berhampur MLA Bikram Panda, accused in the Pitabas Panda murder case, fell ill inside jail and was rushed to MKCG Medical College and Hospital under tight security.
According to sources, Panda complained of chest pain and was initially admitted to the medicine ward before being shifted to the surgery department.
He also underwent consultation at the dental OPD. Doctors have stated that his condition requires close monitoring, and he remains under observation.
While entering the hospital, Panda told reporters he was innocent, alleging false political implications in the case. He expressed faith in the judicial system, saying, “Jagannath is with me.”
Heavy deployment of security personnel continues at MKCG to prevent any untoward incident.
