Bhubaneswar’s Patha Utsav Set to Return With Zone‑Wise Celebrations From December

Bhubaneswar’s much‑loved open‑street festival, Patha Utsav, is making a vibrant comeback from the last week of December 2025.

The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has announced that the event will be hosted across three designated stretches—one in each zone of the city—bringing art, culture, and community spirit back to the streets.

According to BMC Commissioner Chanchal Rana, Patha Utsav will be held every Sunday from 7 am to 10 am, continuing through the first half of January 2026.

The festival will feature dance and music performances, painting and art displays, skating sessions, fitness activities, and family‑friendly engagement zones.

The administration aims to make Patha Utsav a regular fixture on the city’s calendar, strengthening community bonds while promoting wellness and creativity. “We plan to hold the event at the end of December and during the first half of January.

Like every year, we aim to organise Patha Utsav in a unique and engaging way,” Rana said.

With its inclusive programming and festive atmosphere, Patha Utsav is expected to once again transform Bhubaneswar’s streets into lively hubs of joy, participation, and cultural expression.
