Bhubaneswar Passport Office Bomb Threat: Evacuation Ordered, No Explosive Found
Bhubaneswar: Panic gripped the Regional Passport Office in Unit‑8, Bhubaneswar, on Thursday after an email warned of a bomb inside the premises.
Authorities immediately evacuated staff and visitors, sealing off the building while police, bomb disposal squad, and dog squad conducted a thorough search using sniffer dogs and metal detectors.
After hours of inspection, no explosive device was found, and the threat was declared a hoax.
