Bhadrak: Uncle and Nephew Die in Suspected Road Accident, Family Alleges Murder

Two relatives lost their lives in a tragic incident near Guamal under Bansada police limits in Bhadrak district late Wednesday night.

The victims, identified as Rakesh Jena (son of Niranjan Jena) and Manas Jena (son of Madhusudan Jena), were travelling on a motorcycle from Chandabali toward Dosinga when their journey ended near Guanal Chhak on the Dhamara Port road.

Local residents rushed them to Chandbali Medical, where doctors declared both dead on arrival.

The deceased, belonging to Pradyutnagar under Dosinga Panchayat, were uncle and nephew, leaving their families and community devastated.

Relatives, however, raised serious allegations, claiming the deaths were not accidental but a planned murder.

They pointed to injury marks on the bodies and demanded a thorough probe. Police have initiated an investigation to determine whether the case involves homicide or a genuine accident.

Officials confirmed that the post‑mortem report will provide clarity.

The incident has shocked residents of Chandabali block, sparking grief and tension. The bereaved family continues to demand justice, urging authorities to uncover the truth behind the deaths.
