Barbil Prepares for Grand Ram Navami Rally with Robust Security Measures
Barbil (Orissa Today): Barbil Town is set to witness the grandeur of the Shree Ram Navami Rally today, April 7, 2025.
The vibrant procession will begin at the Panchmukhi Hanuman Temple and culminate at Bikash Mahal, passing through various routes across the town. A large turnout of devotees is expected, marking this as one of the most prominent cultural and religious events in the region.
To ensure a smooth and peaceful event, the Keonjhar Police have laid out comprehensive security and surveillance plans:
Extensive Security Deployment
16 Platoons of Police Force have been mobilized.
- The security team includes *20 SI/ASI, **5 Inspectors, **2 DSPs, and **2 Additional SPs* to oversee law and order.
Community Support
- 30 Civil Defence Volunteers*, comprising students from Barbil College, will assist with crowd management and coordination.

- A network of *65 CCTV cameras* has been strategically placed at key locations across Barbil to ensure real-time monitoring.
- Drone surveillance and rooftop monitoring* will add an additional layer of vigilance.
