Balasore: Two Youths Shot, Past Enmity Suspected
Balasore witnessed a shocking incident late Monday night when two youths were shot near Arada Bazaar under Sahadevkhunta police limits.
The victims, identified as Kartik Prasad alias Gedu (30) and Manoj Kumar Sahu alias Muna (35), sustained bullet injuries to the back and arm, respectively.
Both were rushed to Remuna Medical College Hospital for treatment.
Police have launched a manhunt to trace the attacker, with preliminary investigations pointing towards past enmity as the motive.
The incident has sparked concern among residents, especially as it occurred just hours after another murder near Station Road, close to the police station.
Locals criticised poor patrolling and expressed fear over rising crime in the area.
