Anubhav Mohanty Backs CM Majhi’s Vision Ahead of Nuapada Bypoll

In a strong display of unity within Odisha’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), senior leader and former Kendrapara MP Anubhav Mohanty met Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at his residence today. The meeting comes as the party intensifies its campaign for the high-stakes Nuapada Assembly by-election.

Mohanty, a popular actor-turned-politician, described the interaction as “fruitful,” highlighting discussions on Odisha’s development roadmap and the party’s strategy for the tribal-dominated constituency. He praised CM Majhi’s “positive attitude towards any good work for the welfare of the people of Odisha,” in a post shared on X.

The BJP is gearing up for a major rally in Nuapada on October 16, where CM Majhi is expected to file nomination papers for party candidate Jay Dholakia. The move signals strong backing from the party’s high command and a coordinated push to secure the seat.

Mohanty concluded his post with a cultural invocation: “May Lord Shri Jagannath’s blessings always remain upon him. Jai Jagannath 🚩,” underscoring the spiritual undertones often present in Odisha’s political discourse.
