Anoop Mehta Appointed IGI Chairman to Lead Global Gem Certification

With over five decades of experience, Mr. Mehta is a titan in the diamond sector. As Chairman and Managing Director of Mohit Diamonds Pvt Ltd. and President of the Bharat Diamond Bourse (BDB), he has played a transformative role in elevating India’s position in the global diamond trade. His leadership in establishing the Bharat Diamond Bourse, inaugurated in 2010, has been a landmark achievement, cementing India’s prominence in the international market. Mehta also holds influential positions in the World Federation of Diamond Bourses and the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), further showcasing his deep industry expertise.
