Amrit Bharat Express Frequency Increased to Tri-Weekly Between Udhna and Brahmapur

Indian Railways has announced a significant boost in connectivity between western and eastern India with the Amrit Bharat Express now operating three times a week between Udhna (Surat, Gujarat) and Brahmapur (Odisha).

Previously running on a bi-weekly schedule, the train’s frequency has been increased to meet growing passenger demand and improve travel convenience.

The tri-weekly service is expected to provide smoother travel options for commuters, long-distance passengers, and those travelling for business or personal reasons.

This move strengthens regional ties between Gujarat and Odisha, offering enhanced accessibility and supporting economic and social interactions across the two states.

The Amrit Bharat Express, known for its modern design and passenger-friendly features, continues to play a vital role in India’s expanding rail network.

Railway officials emphasised that the decision reflects the government’s commitment to improving rail infrastructure and ensuring better connectivity for passengers nationwide.
