Alok Tripathi appointed as DRM Khurda Road Division, East Coast Railway

Bhubaneswar, July 28 (UNI) Alok Tripathi, a 1988-bath Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer, has taken over the charge as the new Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Khurda Road Division under the East Coast Railway.

Tripathi has taken the charge from H. S. Bajwa, who served the Khurda Road Division with dedication and commitment.

Prior to current appointment, Tripathi served as Executive Director (Freight Marketing) at the Railway Board, New Delhi.

With a career spanning over two decades, he brings with him vast administrative and operational experience in various key positions across Indian Railways.

Tripathi has held several notable assignments, including General Manager at the National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL), and served on deputation with the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG).

His earlier roles include Assistant Operations Manager (AOM) at Ahmedabad, Divisional Operations Manager (DOM) at Vadodara and Area Railway Manager (ARM) with Western Railway.

He also served as Senior Divisional Commercial Manager (Sr. DCM) at Rajkot and Senior Divisional Operations Manager (Sr. DOM) at Rajkot, Vadodara and Ratlam Divisions.

Born in December, 1974, Tripathi joined Indian Railways on September 20, 1999. He holds an B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT, Kanpur; bringing a strong technical foundation to his administrative expertise.

As the new DRM of Khurda Road Division, Tripathi is expected to drive further improvements in operational efficiency, passenger amenities, and freight services across one of the busiest divisions
of East Coast Railway.
