Alia Bhatt Unveils Alpha First Look Theatrical Release on 10 July 2026
Bollywood star Alia Bhatt has set the stage for a groundbreaking moment in Indian cinema with the unveiling of the first look of her upcoming action thriller Alpha.
The film, directed by Shiv Rawail and produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films, will hit theatres worldwide on 10 July 2026.
The poster reveals Bhatt in a fierce action avatar, marked by battle scars and framed by the Greek symbol Alpha, symbolising strength and leadership.
This project is particularly significant as Alpha becomes the first female-led instalment in the YRF Spy Universe, joining blockbuster predecessors like Ek Tha Tiger, War, and Pathaan.
Originally slated for a Christmas 2025 release, the film’s date was shifted twice before settling on July 2026 to avoid a clash with Salman Khan’s Battle of Galwan.
Industry analysts believe this strategic move will allow both films to maximise their box office potential.
The cast includes Sharvari Wagh, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor, promising a high-octane narrative centred on female intelligence operatives.
With Bhatt at the helm, Alpha is expected to redefine the spy genre in Bollywood and expand the cinematic universe into new territory.
Bhatt, meanwhile, is also working on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal, further cementing her position as one of the most versatile actors of her generation.
