Air India Express Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Bhubaneswar After Medical Scare

In a swift display of crisis management, an Air India Express flight traveling from Bengaluru to Guwahati made an emergency landing at Bhubaneswar’s Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) on Thursday following a medical emergency onboard.

According to Airport Director Prasanna Pradhan, the cabin crew alerted air traffic control after co-passengers noticed a passenger in distress. Emergency protocols were activated immediately, allowing the aircraft to land safely in Bhubaneswar.

Medical teams were already on standby and provided prompt care to the affected individual. After stabilization, the flight resumed its journey to Guwahati without further incident.

Airport authorities confirmed that all procedures were executed efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to regular operations.
