Varanasi, July 27 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi has likely to visit his Varanasi parliamentary constituency on August 2 when the local MP will gift the city with several development projects worth over Rs1000 crores.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will reach Kashi on Monday and hold a meeting with the officials.
CM will inspect the venue of the MP’s programme and will finalise the list of projects to be laid and inaugurated by the PM.
According officials here on Sunday Chief Minister Yogi will seek all details about the facilities to be provided during the Prime Minister’s public meeting in Banauli (Kalika Dham) of Sevapuri block on his Kashi visit. More than 50,000 people from all assembly segments of Varanasi Lok Sabha are expected to participate.
CM will give instructions to the officials on all issues including parking space, drinking water and security during the PM’s visit.
The Chief Minister will also visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Kaal Bhairav Temple. As tomorrow is the auspicious third Somvaar of holy month of Sawan.
Meanwhile, BJP’s Kashi region president Dilip Patel said that a list of vehicles of workers, officials and senior leaders is being prepared at each divisional level under all the eight assembly constituencies in Varanasi for the PM programme.
Before the visit of the PM, BJP will run city cleanliness campaign till August 1.
Police Commissioner Mohit Agarwal and District Magistrate Satyendra Kumar have inspected the public meeting venue and the proposed routes. The public meeting venue will be under the surveillance of drone sm.
roper arrangements are being made for the entry and exit of people in
the public meeting venue along with parking.
There are proposed development projects worth more than Rs 1000 crore for foundation stone laying and inauguration. This will include many schemes related to overbridge, four-lane road, health and urban development.
Many foundation stone laying schemes including Hi-Tech Corporation’s Mini House, Digital Library at Sigra, Multi-level Car Parking at Assi and underground Parking near Sigra Stadium are expected by the PM.
