Kendrapara, August 28 (OT Webdesk): Tensions erupted outside Pattamundai Hospital in Kendrapara district after a 4-year-old boy was allegedly left paralysed in his left leg due to a wrongly administered injection.

The incident occurred three days ago when the child was brought in for treatment of an unspecified illness.

According to the family, the boy received an injection at the hospital, after which his left leg became immobile. The sudden deterioration sparked outrage among locals, prompting a protest outside the hospital gates.

Eyewitnesses reported that villagers and family members blocked the hospital entrance, demanding accountability and swift action against the medical staff involved. Protesters called for an immediate investigation into the alleged medical negligence.
