Senior leaders of the Odisha Congress, including OPCC President Bhakta Charan Das, state in-charge Ajay Kumar Lallu, and Congress Legislature Party Leader Rama Chandra Kadam, have joined the All India Congress Committee (AICC) session in Ahmedabad.
This two-day session, starting after a gap of 64 years in Gujarat, includes an extended Congress Working Committee meeting and discussions to strategize the party’s political path.
The event comes as Congress works to rebuild its presence in Gujarat, a state it has not governed in nearly three decades. Party leaders aim to reinvigorate political strategies and overcome setbacks from past elections.
Held at historic venues like the Sardar Patel Memorial and the banks of the Sabarmati River, the session also reflects on the Congress’s long-standing legacy in Indian politics.
