
Diwali 2025 Greetings: President Murmu, PM Modi, Odisha CM Majhi Share Festive Wishes
As Diwali 2025 lit up homes and hearts across India, national and regional leaders took to social media to share festive wishes and messages of unity, compassion, and prosperity.
President Droupadi Murmu emphasised the deeper meaning of Diwali, calling it a celebration of light over darkness and good over evil. She encouraged citizens to reflect, support those in need, and spread joy and kindness.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi echoed similar sentiments, wishing for harmony and positivity to prevail across the nation. “May this festival illuminate our lives with happiness and prosperity,” he shared.
Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan extended greetings to Indians at home and abroad, while Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi wished peace and prosperity to the people of the state. BJP National Vice President Baijayant ‘Jay’ Panda also joined in, praying for the victory of righteousness and renewed hope.
Across India, homes, temples, and streets glowed with diyas and decorations as families offered prayers to Goddess Lakshmi, embracing the spirit of togetherness and devotion.
