CM Mohan Majhi Calls Durgapur Victim’s Father, Vows Full Support

In a compassionate outreach, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi spoke directly with the father of the Durgapur gang-rape victim, expressing deep sympathy and assuring comprehensive support from the state government.

The CM emphasised that Odisha will prioritise the girl’s recovery and reintegration into normal life, offering all necessary medical, legal, and logistical assistance.

Majhi also vowed to pursue justice with urgency, stating that the perpetrators must face strict punishment. He confirmed that a senior Odisha official is coordinating with West Bengal authorities to ensure seamless legal cooperation.

The CM further pledged that if any additional help is required, the Odisha government will provide it without hesitation.
