Keonjhar :— The iron pumped and spirits soared as the first-ever Open Bodybuilding Championship 2025 unfolded with grandeur and grit at the Multi-Purpose Indoor Stadium in Champua, Keonjhar district. With 40 participants showcasing peak physical prowess, discipline, and aesthetic excellence, the event marked a new chapter in Odisha’s fitness landscape.

Category Highlights: Strength Meets Strategy
– 55–60 kg: Vikas Gupta clinched gold, followed by Samir Kumar Behera and Umesh Kumar Barik.
– 60–65 kg: Rudra Mahant emerged victorious, with Moaj Alam and Ranjan Kumar Munda securing second and third.
– 65–70 kg: Gautam Haiburu took the top spot, ahead of Chaita Paithai and Ganesh Prusty.
– 70–80 kg: Prabhat Barodia dominated, with Tamoj Alam as runner-up.

Based on outstanding performance across categories, Vikas Kumar Gupta was crowned Mr. Champua 2025 – Overall Champion, earning accolades for his sculpted physique and commanding stage presence.

Men’s Health Division: A Showcase of Vitality
– Group A: Samir Kumar Behera led the pack, followed by Vikas Gupta and Moaj Alam.
– Group B: Bapi Behera claimed first place, with Kamal Giri and Prabhat Parida close behind.

Trainer Recognition & Special Honors
Barbil Multipurpose Indoor Stadium Trainer Bichitra Nand Puhan received special recognition for mentoring standout performers including Vikas Gupta, Gautam Haiburu, and Ranjan Kumar Munda—whose dedication reflected in their stellar results.
