
President Murmu’s Gujarat Visit Blends Spirituality, Tribal Outreach, and Academic Excellence
President Droupadi Murmu is set to embark on a three-day visit to Gujarat from October 9 to 11, 2025, marking a significant engagement with the state’s cultural, ecological, and educational landscape.
Her itinerary begins with an arrival in Rajkot on October 9, followed by a spiritually resonant visit to the iconic Somnath Temple in Prabhas Patan on October 10, where she will perform Darshan and Aarti.
Later that day, she will explore Gir National Park, home to the endangered Asiatic lion, and interact with tribal communities in Sasan Gir.
On October 11, President Murmu will offer prayers at the revered Dwarkadhish Temple in Dwarka before heading to Ahmedabad to attend the 71st convocation ceremony of Gujarat Vidyapith, reinforcing her commitment to academic excellence and youth empowerment.
