Pitabasa Panda Murder: Odisha CM Mohan Majhi Orders Swift Action and Exemplary Punishment
Bhubaneswar, Oct 7: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has strongly condemned the brutal murder of senior advocate and BJP leader Pitabasa Panda in Brahmapur, calling it an “inhuman and heinous act.” Expressing deep sorrow over the incident, the CM extended heartfelt condolences to Panda’s bereaved family.
Majhi assured swift justice, directing the police to identify and apprehend the culprits without delay. He emphasised that exemplary punishment must be ensured to deter such crimes in the future.
“This is a peaceful state. Such barbaric acts will not be tolerated under any circumstances,” Majhi stated, reinforcing the government’s commitment to maintaining law and order.
