Deogarh, — A road accident involving the vehicle of Odisha’s Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Minister Rabi Narayan Naik left two motorcyclists injured on Monday evening near Balma village. The Minister was en route to a Durga Puja celebration when the collision occurred.

The victims, Digambar Pradhan and Pradeep Palei from Bhalumunda village, were reportedly heading to the same event when their bike struck the rear of the Minister’s vehicle. Both sustained injuries and were immediately taken to the District Headquarters Hospital.

Minister Naik, after concluding his official engagement, visited the hospital to assess their condition and assured full medical support. Due to the severity of his injuries, Digambar Pradhan was later shifted to Burla Medical College and Hospital for advanced treatment.
