
Odisha CM hails commissioning of ICGS Adamya at Paradip as a moment of Pride
Bhubaneswar, Sep 19 (UNI) Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today described the commissioning of the Indian Coast Guard’s fast patrol vessel Adamya at Paradip as a matter of pride for Odisha and a testament to the state’s rising strategic importance.
Taking to his official handle on X, CM Majhi said, “Under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, our nation is steadily advancing towards the vision of a Sashakt Bharat, with Odisha playing a pivotal role in strengthening India’s maritime security architecture.”
The Chief Minister said the induction of Adamya will significantly boost coastal surveillance, safeguard India’s Exclusive Economic Zone, and reinforce national security in the Bay of Bengal.
Congratulating the Indian Coast Guard on the achievement, Majhi added that the commissioning marks a vital step in enhancing the country’s maritime defence capabilities.
