(OT Webdesk)In a significant recognition of Odisha’s administrative talent, two senior IPS officers from the state cadre—Yeshwant Jethwa and RP Koche—have been empanelled by the Union Government for Director General (DG)-level posts at the Centre.
Yeshwant Jethwa, a 1994-batch officer currently serving as Director of Vigilance, has earned national acclaim for his integrity and leadership in anti-corruption initiatives.
RP Koche, from the 1993 batch and presently Director of Intelligence, is known for his strategic acumen and operational expertise in sensitive intelligence matters.
Their empanelment marks a milestone for Odisha’s representation in India’s top security and governance framework.
It also signals the Centre’s growing trust in the capabilities of state cadre officers to contribute meaningfully at the national level.
