Bhubaneswar( OT Webdesk): Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to embark on a two-day visit to Odisha starting May 10, focusing on forensic education, public outreach, and cultural significance.
One of the key highlights of his visit will be laying the foundation stone for the National Forensic Science University campus in Jatani, reinforcing the Centre’s commitment to strengthening forensic education and criminal investigation capabilities in the region.
Shah will also visit the Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri, a spiritual stop deeply revered by millions. His trip will culminate on May 11 with a public meeting in Bhubaneswar, where he is expected to discuss the Centre’s developmental roadmap for Odisha, addressing pressing state and national concerns.
Political analysts view this visit as both strategic and symbolic, underlining the government’s commitment to Odisha’s progress while energising the local political climate ahead of upcoming elections.
