The Odisha government has taken proactive measures to streamline the admission process for the 2025-26 academic year. This initiative encompasses postgraduate programs as well as two-year B.Ed, M.Ed, and BH.Ed courses. With a goal of timely academic progression, the admission process for undergraduate courses is set to begin on April 16, 2025.
A significant highlight is the introduction of the Common Application Form (CAF) under the Student Academic Management System (SAMS), which promises a more user-friendly application experience.
Aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP-2020), students can now select from customizable curriculum options such as single majors with two minors, double majors, or three minors. This flexibility underscores the state government’s commitment to modernizing education in line with national directives.
The government aims to commence undergraduate classes by July 10, 2025, ensuring that examinations and results are conducted and released promptly. This strategic approach will undoubtedly benefit students’ academic journeys and future planning.
