Bhubaneswar, (Orissa Today), July 8: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi announced a cash incentive of Rs 15 lakh each for javelin thrower Kishore Jena and hockey player Amit Rohidas, who will represent Odisha in the Paris Olympics. The incentive is intended to motivate and support the talented athletes from the state, as confirmed by official sources.
Expressing confidence that this financial support will inspire Jena and Rohidas to deliver outstanding performances at the Olympics, the Chief Minister emphasized the significance of the Games as a global sporting extravaganza. Majhi highlighted that by qualifying for the Olympics, both athletes have brought pride not only to their hometowns but to the entire state of Odisha.
