Puri, July 14(OT Webdesk): Two months after explosive allegations tied her to a Pakistani espionage ring, YouTuber Priyanka Senapati has released a tearful video response denying all accusations and criticising the media for sensationalising her story.
In her emotional Facebook post titled “The Untold Story”, Priyanka clarified that her travel to Pakistan was part of a sponsored trip and dismissed claims of visiting Kartarpur with suspected spy Jyoti Malhotra.
She also said she was accompanied by a different friend.
“If I were a traitor, would I still be here today?” Priyanka asked, citing threats of rape and arson she received following widespread media coverage.
The influencer disclosed how her friendship with Jyoti began on Instagram in September 2024 and escalated into travelling together around Puri and later Kashmir.
She claims the media distorted this into a narrative that triggered harassment and emotional trauma.
She also expressed outrage at media outlets allegedly misusing images and linking her to her father’s restaurant business, which she says was built with years of effort from a small grocery shop, not foreign funding as implied.
Despite the continuing NIA investigation, Priyanka insists on her innocence and vows to cooperate fully with authorities.
Her video has sparked debate across social platforms, with some rallying behind her and others demanding further scrutiny.
