(OT Webdesk):Odisha’s Economic Offences Wing (EOW) has arrested Jitendra Mallick, a key promoter of the controversial online betting platform , linked to a massive Rs 1,000 crore fraud.
Mallick, who hails from Ganjam, was nabbed in Bengaluru on June 4, 2025, following complaints from over 800 duped investors.
The scheme promised daily compound returns, referral bonuses, and other lucrative incentives, luring hundreds into fraudulent investments.
Initially, investors received payouts, but as memberships surged, payments abruptly stopped, leading to the platform’s shutdown.
Authorities have traced Rs 446 crore in financial transactions and frozen Rs 1.25 crore in fraudulent accounts.
The probe extends to suspected money laundering networks and shell companies, with a focus on the alleged mastermind, George Enzo and Dubai-based Md Saif.
