Bhubaneswar, June 25(OT Webdesk): In a landmark step toward digitized governance, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today launched the e-Registration mobile app, offering citizens a unified digital platform for accessing a wide array of land and revenue-related services.

The app, developed under the Revenue & Disaster Management Department, enables users to book slots for land registration deeds, obtain certified copies and encumbrance certificates, and view real-time land valuation benchmarks—all from Android devices.

Citizens can also access details of their local Sub-Registrar offices through the app.

Speaking at the launch event at Lok Seva Bhawan, Majhi hailed the app as a “major milestone in promoting transparency, efficiency, and citizen-centric governance.

He emphasized its role in achieving paperless and cashless administrative workflows, and improving public service delivery.

As part of the announcement, the CM also unveiled the department’s annual performance report, highlighting the allocation of permanent land titles to over 20,385 schools and distribution of homestead land to 16,727 homeless beneficiaries under the Basundhara scheme.

The CM further emphasized the importance of disaster readiness, citing Odisha’s recent “Zero Casualty” record during Cyclone Dana as a testament to proactive governance.

With over 4.61 lakh land records verified, the state continues to strengthen its commitment to equitable access and transparent land management.
