Berhampur, June 28(OT Webdesk): Odisha Vigilance officials on Saturday conducted simultaneous raids at seven locations connected to Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) Susil Kumar Panda of Ganjam Block in a high-profile disproportionate assets (DA) investigation.

A task force of six Deputy Superintendents of Police and seven Inspectors carried out the searches under legal authorisation from the Special Judge, Vigilance, Berhampur.

The coordinated operation spanned residential and official premises across Ganjam and Puri districts.

The targeted properties include:

  • A triple-storeyed house in Ram Hari Nagar, Berhampur.
  • Two flats at Mukteshwar Apartment in Ankuli, Berhampur—one reportedly owned by Panda’s brother.
  • A flat in Chudanga Sahi, Puri.
  • Panda’s paternal residence is in Gudali village, Kabisurya Nagar.
  • His in-laws’ house in Bedha, Purushottampur.
  • His office is at the Ganjam Block headquarters.

The raids are ongoing, and authorities have yet to release a comprehensive asset valuation report.

Officials confirmed that further disclosures would follow upon completion of the operation.
