Bhubaneswar( OT Webdesk): The Odisha government has announced an increase in vehicle rental expenses for ministers, officers, and VIPs.
This revision comes after nearly six years, with the finance department issuing an official notification outlining the changes.
As part of the update, the monthly rental costs for vehicles used by government officials have been raised to ₹50,400.
The decision aims to accommodate inflation and market fluctuations affecting vehicle hire rates.
Government sources indicate that the revision will help streamline transportation expenses while ensuring efficient mobility for officials performing administrative duties.
