Bhubaneswar, (OT Webdesk) – In a breathtaking display of unity and resilience, thousands of women gathered for the Sindoor Yatra, a grand procession organised by Mission Shakti. The march, held in Bhubaneswar, commemorated the triumph of Operation Sindoor and celebrated the indomitable spirit of Indian women and soldiers.
The event saw participation from Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, who highlighted the profound symbolism of Sindoor. “Sindoor represents protection, courage, and victory. It is a pledge of strength for the nation and its people,” he emphasised.
Starting at Master Canteen Square and concluding at Rama Devi University, the march showcased unwavering support for women’s leadership and national pride. Notable guests, including Lieutenant Commander Ananya Dalbehera and Priyadarshini Acharya, wife of martyred soldier Prashant Satpathy, added emotional depth to the event, reinforcing the essence of sacrifice and bravery.
