NEET-UG Exam Conducted Nationwide, Irregularities Reported in Odisha Centers

NEET-UG exam 2025

Bhubaneswar, May 5, 2025 OT Webdesk): The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) for medical courses was conducted nationwide, with over 22 lakh candidates appearing for the exam in 5,453 centers across 552 cities in India and 14 cities abroad.

In Odisha, around 1 lakh students participated across 27 centres.

Despite the smooth conduct in most locations, irregularities were reported in two Bhubaneswar centres. At Kendriya Vidyalaya-3, students allegedly received question papers 45 minutes late, without additional time granted for compensation.

Similarly, at Rama Devi Women’s University, distribution delays of 25 minutes were reported, affecting students’ ability to complete the test.

Strict security measures were implemented across all centres, prohibiting electronic gadgets and personal items inside examination halls. The results are expected to be declared on June 14.

Complaints regarding the irregularities have been filed, and affected students hope for a resolution. Authorities have yet to respond to these grievances.
