New Delhi (Orissa Today): The much-anticipated Bollywood blockbuster Raid 2 is set to hit the silver screen on May 1, 2025. A sequel to the 2018 hit Raid, this film brings Ajay Devgn back as the fearless Amay Patnaik. Directed with finesse and packed with star power, Raid 2 promises an exhilarating cinematic experience.
The film boasts an impressive cast, including Riteish Deshmukh as the menacing antagonist Dada Manohar Bhai, and Vaani Kapoor as Ajay’s supportive yet grounded wife. While Ajay reportedly charged ₹20 crore for reprising his iconic role, Riteish and Vaani fetched ₹4 crore and ₹1 crore respectively. Tamannaah Bhatia’s sizzling item number “Nasha” is also a major highlight, with her performance earning ₹1 crore.
Made on a budget of ₹48 crore, Raid 2 aims to replicate—or even surpass—the success of its predecessor. However, the road to triumph won’t be easy, as it faces stiff competition from Sanjay Dutt’s horror-comedy The Bhootni.
