PM Modi to visit Odisha for fourth time ahead of election finale

Bhubaneswar, (Orissa Today), May 27: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is gearing up for his fourth visit to Odisha within a month, scheduled for May 29th. Joining him in the state is Home Minister Amit Shah, set to visit on May 28th.

According to the official itinerary, the Prime Minister will participate in election campaigns across Baripada, Balasore, and Kendrapara. Meanwhile, Amit Shah will conduct campaigns in Chandbali, Korei, and Nimapara.

Additionally, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma is slated to campaign in various locations in Odisha today and tomorrow, while Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw will embark on marathon campaigns on the same dates.

It is pertinent to note that the last phase of elections in Odisha is scheduled for June 1st, covering Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, and Jagatsinghpur. The third phase of elections was conducted on May 23rd, marked by heavy security arrangements across six Lok Sabha and 42 Assembly constituencies, including Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Sambalpur, Keonjhar, Puri, and Dhenkanal. Results for the General Elections 2024 are slated to be declared on June 4th.
